Modalities:
Swedish Massage: Long, fluid, strokes promote general relaxation, warmth, increased circulation and detoxification.
Myofascial Release: Slow, gentle release of the tissue that weaves through our entire body, enveloping each muscle fiber, nerve, organ. Restrictions and physical patterns developed after illness, injury or by habit can be effectively treated, allowing the body to return to a greater degree of agility and function.
Craniosacral Therapy: Very gentle, almost imperceptible movements mainly of the skull bones and sacrum can result in a profound state of relaxation in which the body's wisdom has the possibility of restoring health and wellbeing.
Neuromuscular Therapy: Trigger points are sought out and dissolved through direct pressure and specialized massage technique. This modality can be a deeper form of bodywork, and includes constant dialog between client and practitioner to assure an optimal degree of pressure and release.

Thai Massage is done on a mat on the floor, and you can remain fully clothed. You will be gently rocked, deeply stretched, and pressure is applied along energy lines. This form of bodywork is rapidly gaining popularity, especially among athletes. It is sometimes called 'Lazy Man's Yoga'. While you are guided through some assisted yoga positions and stretches, no knowledge of yoga is necessary to benefit from Thai Massage. Try it out, you will love it! Warm towels as well as heated rice and bean bags are available to warm areas of the body in preparation for deeper work. They feel great and will keep you cozy regardless of the temperature outside! A heating pad will provide warmth from underneath for an all-around relaxing experience.
